With the new political change in Zagreb and the green-left political platform Zagreb je NAŠ!/Možemo! now running the city, there is an evident need for different transformative practices in different avenues of life and city governance. With “New School for New City”, a mini-series of lectures and conversations with ten mostly European cities, we want to dive deep into opportunities for socio-ecological transformation of the city life.
With the program held from 14th to 16th December 2021, new councilors at neighbourhood, district and city levels received an opportunity to learn, share and discuss the experiences and views of other green- and left-governed cities in relation to issues such as mobility, energy, waste or housing.
