However, we’re also missing not only backlinks, but also the ability to retrieve and save that which links to here, so that it doesn’t disappear – as it often does and can be only reconstructed from the Internet Archive. Only once there’s a way to secure that something does not disappear, one can decide for something to appear only under certain circumstances, appear to certain groups, or not to appear at all.”
