abstract⁄The authors have developed an approach to creating realtime audiovisual architectural simulationsthat allow any viewer to virtually explore the spatial and acoustical implications of a building’s design.Though somewhat limited in depth of the immersive experience, this investigation successfullydemonstrated that architectural presentations can be augmented and enriched by incorporating sensoryinformation other than the visual.
