abstract⁄This paper defines the contours of a new research trajectory that explores architecture as part of a larger encodable surface oriented toward the technologies that image it. This is situated within a conceptual framework that identifies terraforming, geoaesthetics and the compositionrecomposition of the Earth itself as foundational architectural problems manifesting at all terrestrial scales from the microscopic to the geopolitical.
