Ida expresses this in following terms: “The notes that refer to events and contributions that I didn’t attend. They are much more open to my interpretation than the ones where I was in the room of where the trigger of originated. It feels this has to do a lot with thinking as a collective process that builds a spacetime of shared notions, and on the other side the freedom and perhaps disorientation of the personal unhinged thinking.
When I feel alone, without the knowledge of the context, I phantasize about characters, meanings, relations. I tend to accommodate them according to my needs of evaluation of the situation, finding the good and the bad ones, finding the interesting and the banal. In the notes where I am together among the scribes and voices I don’t feel the urge to evaluate. I indulge into the nuances.”

In more general terms, the note on Translation as Accessiblity condenses a triangulation between the unknown, the translation and the collaboration: “No matter if you say something in the same or different language, you can never understand the other person completely. That impossibility makes it exciting to work together.” The structures of collectivity (languages, multiple selves, names and pseudonyms, communisms…) act as concepts, processes and figures of mediation enabling to break out of the impossibility, impasse and aporia.
